I started Trinket Picnic after years of searching and waiting for an audio-only long-form deep-dive podcast about the world of trinkets and collectibles. I wanted something super niche and super cozy, perhaps a little zany, something I could put on during long commutes or while doing never ending mundane chores. I wanted episodes that I could immerse myself in for a couple of hours.
I waited and waited. And searched and searched. There were lots of podcasts that came close. Lots of wonderful video essays to be found. But nothing quite like what I wanted. Well, you know what they say…If it doesn’t exist, build it yourself. And so here I am giving it a go, steep learning curve and all. (ᵕ • ᴗ •) Thanks so much for listening!
